"Photography for me is not looking, its feeling. If you can't feel what you are looking at, then you are never going to get others to feel anything when they look at your pictures."
Don McCullin
That quote sums it up for me. I began my photography career 25 years ago, started out as a hobby then realized I wanted to take photographs and not snapshots. It did not take long for me to realize that to take a photo and have it represent what I actually saw and felt was quite difficult. Thus began the real journey, of capturing nature in a way that you can share what you feel and see with others in a photograph. I then began studying the techniques of some of the most acclaimed nature photographers, attending multiple workshops with Rocky Mountain School of Photography. The education included time in the classroom, as well as in the field. My passion is the outdoors and my photographs are a result of having a fun-loving life finding and documenting that beauty through creativity.
I specialize in intimate landscapes and macro photography. Since moving to Estes Park, Colorado, I have been doing a lot of the grand vista and wildlife that is ever so abundant here.
